Another region road game for Dutch Fork at Chapin (DF has had one home game all season thus far). Chapin has steadily improved since moving to 5A. Their only losses last season were to Dutch Fork and River Bluff and their only loss this season was to Flora. Since moving to 5A, Dutch Fork and Chapin have played four times with DF winning all four, and out scoring Chapin 231-39.

In my assessment, when the Foxes are playing their brand of football, they are at least 4 or 5 TDs better than any team, from any classification in the state; Fort D., Gaffney, Dorman, Flora, Abbeville, Daniel ...anyone- but that is just me. The defense swarms the ball and they will strike you. On offense, Antonio Williams and Jarvis Green are men among boys. And the OL and DL play are the best you will see in SC HS football. But that being said, with the year they have endured nothing would surprise me. You never know what teenagers will do. I think they are ready, but we will see. Wish them all the best at Chapin. Just proud of them and happy they can compete.

If I remember correctly, DOODLES has Chapin losing by 26 points.

I think DOODLES is being very and I mean, VERY conservative.

I think I would have gone more toward 46 than 26.

...DF does enjoy whuppin' up on the jet-ski riding Lake Murray crowd...haha. Chapin continues to improve, so we will have to see how it goes.

Dutch Fork by as many as they want. Newberry was beating Chapin, and out gaining them by nearly 200 yards at the half. Newberry just ran out of healthy bodies. Dutch Fork won't have that issue.

That is true. If Chapin plays like they did against Newberry, it might be a rough night. They need to get after it like they did against Flora. A loss to Flora is nothing to be ashamed of at all. I think Chapin will have a good game against DF....just have to wait and see.
