Daniel and Wren face off this Friday at Wren.

Wren is coming in with a 3-4 record. They lost their first two games to the 5A state champions then to the 5A runner up. They fell to 0-3 losing to rival Powdersville. Since then they’ve gone 3-1. They have two QBs they like to play because they are both getting D1 offers but neither are very impressive in my eyes.

Daniel comes in undefeated at 7-0. Last week against Pendleton some of the normal starters sat out to rest their injuries and they’ll be back Friday for this game.

Wacky things happen at Hurricane Stadium when we go there. In 2014 Kelly Bryant and the refs got a last second win in a game that we had won. Then the last time we were there we had a 27-14 lead late in the 4th and Venables got injured then we nearly gave the game away but luck was on our side in the end and we scored on a Hail Mary.

Hopefully we go in, win, and get out. But I doubt it’ll be that simple on their turf.

Dub warned me the refs were all Hurricanes when you went to the Wren stadium. Daniel will give them a good ole fashioned Six Mile thumpin'...

I think Antonio Williams had a couple punt returns for scores called back against Wren... smh. Hard enough playing the other team, but then you toss in the refs. Go D. Wistar!

Stretch, I think it will be ok. Dub told the refs he had his eye on them...they will call it straight.

If it’s called down the middle DWD should be fine.
I don’t think they can get the pressure they need to beat them. It is a rivalry game and to be honest I wouldn’t mind a tough close game to get us ready for the playoffs.

Started out pretty slow giving up a FG. Then w scored 5 unanswered touchdowns. Wren is not very good and they are super undisciplined. 18 should’ve been thrown out on two separate occasions. We won’t have to worry about seeing them because it’ll likely be an early playoff exit for them.

The score doesn’t tell you how dominate this victory this was. Wren was whipped in every phase and especially in the class department. How does their coach shove and push one of our oline down to the ground and remain in the game. But I understand why wren is full of dirty players and where they learn it. I hope we do see them again to throw them another beating. Glad we have a bye week to get healthy. Finish the Bears in week ten and then get down to business. We would’ve played with anybody in the state tonight.

I think Dutch fork would laugh y’all might play them…no no y’all wouldn’t. y’all play cupcake schedule out of conference. See how y’all do next year in 4A play actual competition.

Yea we’re real worried about moving up to 4A went 22-3 our last two years there . What conference are we going to be in that weak region 1 . Our region in 3a this year is better.
Right now we already are 2-0 in that region . We would schedule better f we could get people to stop ducking (Laurens last 2 years for example. Can’t wait to beat up on Weakside again. You need to worry about whatever team you follow . Oh that’s right you claim no one.

No turnovers by either team so that was even
So you know this the more athletic more dominant team rarely has to do underhanded things in a game to win .
Just sayin.

Bhp in two weeks and then the show begins .
I really think the lions look like a team just ready for the playoffs to start . This regular season has been sort of we’re here but this is not why we’re here. There was a little more pep Friday. The defense is playing lights out.

So I got question for you .
Not who you think y’all be playing in Columbia at the end but who do you want.
