Who do you like in this matchup? ....and why?

Greenwood -because i believe they have a better
all around team. GO GET'EM EAGLES!

I like Greenwood because they seem to be on the rise. Greer seems to be on the decline

Cool! I was thinking the same thing but wasn't sure on how good Greer was since they lost a few talented players from last year. A guy from Union told me they were still pretty good this year despite the players that graduated and transferred out.

Greenwood starting to get healthy. I saw quite a few players back at the Eastside game that had been out. I think this will be a competitive game for the most part. I say 27-17 Gwd

We played in week zero and first quarter was very tight, then the wheels fell off for Greer. Since then, that seems to be their MO. They don't seem to play a full four quarters. Some games they get off to a bad start but recover and sometimes it is a bad 3rd quarter or 2nd quarter. It's had to explain why it happens, but that is how it seems to go.

Should they put together a full 4 quarters of their best, this could be a down to the final minute type game.

If you've ever watched Mike Greenberg on ESPN, he has a saying he loves:
"If you had to put an amount of money that is significant to you on this game, who would you put it on?"

Well, if it were me and I had to bet that significant amount - which to me is more than a dollar - I would have to put it on Greenwood. If I were forced to bet on Greer, I would have to have at least 14 1/2 points to make that bet.

Union is 0-5. Greer beat them by one point. I don't see Greer beating Greenwood. Greer isn't your usual Greer team this year.

I agree with coach. I don't care what the spread says. We need to prove we can beat Greer first. We played well at times against Eastside but like some have said we were a little sloppy. Due to not playing in 3 weeks. Only reason we won 46-8 is because eastside sucks. I know that sounds rude but I don't know any other way to say it. Hopefully we knocked the rust off. Need to take care of the football or we may get beat like last year. Lots of respect for Greer and their tradition. They may be down but they still are capable of beating us if we don't come to play. Let's get the win Gwood!! Let's go!
