Greenwood wins the Region Championship. Game was full of twists and turns but my Eagles grinded it out. Gotta love the victory formation. Just really happy for the kids. Chris Liner has brought the Greenwood tradition back. Time to get ready for a tough post season.

This was a very good game. About gave me a heart attack. I'm glad my team came out on the winning end. When the defense jumped offsides on that 4th and 5, I was thinking crap; they gave the momentum back. I'm glad they kept on plugging. Both teams never quit. That was a classic and what a great crowd.

Congrats to coach Liner and the Greenwood kids! Very proud to be a Greenwood Eagle! 1st region title since Cathcart was the head ball coach.

Great night to be a greenwood eagle. Loved seeing the greenville folks slowly walking off our field dejected and defeated while gwood is celebrating. That's how it should be in our house. Go Eagles! Glad Liner was able to win region. Now people should see what Gwd fans were talking about before Liner got the job. Only greenwood head coaches not to win region are Mike Martin and Dan Pippin.

Congrats to this year's Greenwood kids! They earned it. Nothing cheap. I'm glad they know what winning feels like. Just don't forget the hard work you put in to get there. Go after that State Title now. One thing is for sure, Liner is just getting started. Still in the early stages of being the head coach and already has a region title in his 2nd year. Much appreciated man. One of the reasons we are region champs is because we played y'all in the preseason. We took a whooping but it made us better. Good luck to y'all in the playoffs.
