This week we will travel down to Belton-Honea Path for the regular season finale. Daniel comes in fresh after a BYE and BHP is coming off a tough loss at Wren.

The BYE week couldn’t have come at a better time for Daniel we had a lot of guys nursing injuries but they’ve had their time off and now they’re back and ready for the last week of the season. We’ve virtually locked up the region title so we have this week and the week following guaranteed but everything after that will have to be earned if they want more football into November and December.

BHP has had a lackluster year not winning back to back once this season with a 4-5 record. Their wins come against the bottom 2 teams in our region as well as Westside and Woodruff. Their offense leaves alot to be desired but they’ve turned it on in region games. The defense looks horrible giving up 4 or more touchdowns in every region game so far.

Could be a barn burner on Friday or it could be like last years beat down. You never know in rivalry games. I hate BHP almost as much as Seneca so I am hoping for option #2.

Daniel by at least 3 Tds

The one thing you know you will always get from BHP is a physical football game. So we have to come ready to play.
I’ve seen them live twice and on film once. Their offense is no different than last year except they are throwing in motion to try to disguise what their doing . Not really effective. I thought Blackston would’ve had a wake up call after last year but that’s not really the case.
We play fairly clean no turnovers we win comfortably.
We don’t we get in a ball game.

Won't be close. Daniel is the class of 3A and BHP is far from what they used to be.

3 straight region titles for these guys with a 35-7 win. I’ll let dub post his two cents about the refs tonight but all I’m saying is they were very very very bad. Glad we got the win and from here on out you have to earn it to play more football.

Here’s what I thought about the refs . Their the only thing that kept Daniel from hanging 60-70 on the bears tonight.
The defense just keeps getting better and better.
