Rematches

We have several rematches heading into round 2 of the playoffs. Never liked playing a team a second time in a season especially if we won the first time around. "Vengeance Is Mine Says the Lord!" Wonder what the Football Gods have to say??

Agreed...
2009, 2010, 2011 Byrnes had State Championship Game rematches with Dorman, Dorman and Gaffney and the team that won the Regular Season Match Up lost the rematch in every game!
But, at least with State Wide brackets, it didn't happen in round two or three....

Our rematches started in rd 1.
Fort D beat Berkeley in the playoffs. The regular season game was cancelled for Covid.
Goose Creek got revenge on Summerville
Cane Bay beat Ashley Ridge both times
Stratford got revenge on West Ashley
I think the best chance of another rematch would be Fort D and Goose Creek at the swamp in round 3 provided both teams win this week.
Stratford and Cane Bay have to slay DF and Sumter. Don’t see that happening.
