Catawba Ridge at Greenwood Part 2 Round 2 Poll

Earlier this season Greenwood went up to CR and squeaked out a hard fought 17-14 victory. I never liked having to play teams twice but hey...If you want to be champs you have to do what you gotta do to keep playing. Who ya got in this one and why?

Should be a good game. CR is a tough out. They have 4 losses but all came to solid teams. I think Greenwood can win it again.

I am going with Greenwood in a close one.
I hope there is something to home field
advantage.I expect the Eagles defense
to make the big plays.i have to decide if
i am going to this game or Abbeville-Saluda.

What do you think their game plan was in the first game? Lots of teams having to play again. It is what it is. Win or go home.

I literally drove by that school every day from the time they broke ground until I moved back to the Slo-Country!!
Great stadium and they are ballin now...
I only say they are gonna air it out cause their coach came from NAFO!

Greenwood was missing a few players last time against Catawba Ridge. Definitely difference makers. Will be tough but it's the playoffs. Tough games will be expected from here on out. We just need to keep doing what we're doing. Play good hard nosed physical Greenwood football and we'll be fine. I expect my Eagles to pull it out in a close 4th quarter game.

One other thing to add is Greenwood had some key turnovers in that first game that gave CR the short field, which allowed CR to close the gap. Hoping to see a cleaner performance from Greenwood this time around. CR is definitely a worthy opponent. Greenwood must play well.
