Beaufort is coming into this game with a Record of 9-2. The Eagles are Avg. 30 Points a game and giving up 13 Points a game. Beaufort is coming off a Huge 30-14 Win over South Florence. The Eagles have a Record of 4-1 in Away Games so far this Season.
North Augusta is coming into this game with a Record of 6-5. The Yellowjackets are Avg. 26 Points a game and giving up 19 Points a game. North Augusta is coming off a 31-12 win over Bluffton. The Yellowjackets have a Record of 2-4 at Home so far this season.
Beaufort has never beat North Augusta before. The Eagles are 0-7-1 versus The Yellowjackets but 7 of those games were 1961 or earlier. Beaufort last played against North Augusta in 2013 in which they lost 23-10 in the Playoffs.
Doodles has Beaufort favored by 8 Points over North Augusta. Do Y'all agree with that? Will Beaufort win? Will North Augusta win? I will give My Prediction later on in the Week.

.
GO BEAUFORT EAGLES BEAT THOSE NORTH AUGUSTA YELLOWJACKETS!!!!

All I know is this, we won't have the classy fans of North Augusta disparaging us like we saw last week. We won't be promised being taken to the woodshed, and how they have played 10 teams better than us so far. Should be a good game.
I saw online today, that North Augusta has a turf field now. When we played there in 2013 it wasn't a very good track. More schools are seeing the value of these new turf fields and how well they hold up even after a long season. I was worried about that until I saw their new turf.
I look forward to facing a respectful team with respectful players and coaches, and most importantly, respectful fans.
The weather is supposed to be much better this Friday than it was last Friday......kind of like even the weather knew that we had something nasty coming to town.

"We did get a turf field 5 years ago. It is awesome, actually has water pipes under it to run water through it to cool the field in the summer/fall heat. Field turf too, so slightly taller blades and more like natural grass. Really is a major upgrade. Hopefully all the rain is gone by Friday, raining now late Wed night, supposed to rain ALL day Thursday, but drainage is not an issue with the turf field."

I have watched the Beaufort Hudl game film from last Friday vs S. Florence. I also watched the last 2 game prior to that of Beaufort also. Obviously seen all the NA games all year.
Beaufort Scouting Report:
This game is VERY even on paper. Defense:
Strength: Beaufort DL is outstanding, Emon is unblockable, plus #32 is a baller on defense.
Weakness: Secondary appears to blow coverages at times with trips looks and smaller DB's except 1
Offense:
Strength: QB experience, Lefty, solid 8-15 yard passing game, 1 main receiver, solid OL at Tackles
Weakness: RB tips plays by alignment, up the middle blocking not great, RB speedy but side to side
Special Teams:
Strength: Willing to take risk/run fakes, discipline LOS no penalties, Kicker consistent/accurate
Weakness: KO's returnable, Punter inconsistent, Kicker limited FG range, top end likely 42
Analysis: Wide side run game, intermediate passing game need to work to score on offense. H-back/TE is
going to be key, made several big plays vs S. Florence blocking and recieving. Will be trick plays
On defense need to pressure Sr QB, force action sideways, and force turnovers, NA has 13 fumbles
lost this season, most in 4A coming into the game.
Not going to give away NA secrets or analysis, but I will say the long drive over to NA from Beaufort is long, boring, and can lull a team to sleep with no direct route between the schools. Beaufort will not have to worry about disrespectful fans, we hold them accountable. NA played the toughest non-region schedule in the state, ALL 5 teams it has lost to this season have advanced to round 2 in the playoffs, including a 5A team (Ridge View), #1 in 3A in Georgia (Burke County), and #2 in 4A Greenwood, so they are battle tested. The long ride, the even talent on paper, both being 2 seeds, both with stout DL's, solid running games, and both having Sr QB's, and the fact that the game is in N. Augusta is likely the only reason I think I give NA the edge. I'll say NA by a FG (because they have a P5 D1 Kicker commit who is #1 in SC with true 60 yard range, multiple 50+ yard FG's this season), but should be a great and close game.
FINAL SCORE PREDICTION: NA - 31 Beaufort 28

Very nice post. Beaufort beat two 6A playoff teams from Georgia in Effingham County and Richmond Hill. We also beat the #1 ranked 4A school in Georgia, Benedictine Catholic. We held them to a season low 23 points, even less that the top ranked 7A school in Florida did when they played them. Our other 2 non-Region games were against Oceanside Collegiate, a second round playoff team, and West Ashley who lost in the 1st round of the 5A playoffs. We went 4-1 against that schedule. We played a very tough non-Region schedule that hopefully helps us in the postseason.
As for Beaufort, the 2 games prior to last week were against teams that, well to put it bluntly, aren't any good. What you saw there was window dressing. We have played lights out in some games this season, and what is best described as inconsistant most of the time. I come to this game not knowing what to expect, other than 2 tough, hard-nosed football teams fighting for the same thing, respect. Now that all of the seniors on the field are faced with thie possible end to their playing career, I look for a determined effort from both squads.
And yes, it is a bit of a drive to North Augusta, and that may be one of the determining factors. I am stoked to see your turf field. When we played there in 2013, the field was a mess that night. Love that more and more districts are going to turf. And with these new turf fields, injuries aren't as bad as they were back 20 to 30 years ago when they were like playing on cement.
Hope to see a good game where the players decide the winner, not the zebras. Also hope nobody gets hurt, and that we all have a great time watching the sport that we all love so much.
My prediction: The team with the most points after 48 minutes gets the big W.
Go Eagles!

This Big 4A Football State 2nd Round Playoff Game is Tomorrow Night. I can't wait!!!! I have been so excited all week long!!!! Hopefully, it will be a great game with no Injuries.
I have been watching some North Augusta Games Online and I think that Beaufort has an excellent shot at winning this game. If Beaufort doesn't have any turnovers then I think My Eagles will win this game pretty easily. Beaufort has the better Offense and the better Defense of the 2 teams.
In order for Beaufort to win this game, The Eagles Offense needs to do what they have been doing by mixing it up running and throwing the Football. The North Augusta Defense has given up some really big plays this season. So that bodes very well for The Eagles Offense. The Yellowjackets gave up some big yards to opposing teams RB'S this season and I look for Beaufort RB'S Amariee Morris and Caleb Ulmer to have Huge Games running the Football. I look for Beaufort QB Tyler Haley to have a REALLY BIG GAME Throwing and Running the Football. The Eagle WR'S should all have great games as well. Like I said, If Beaufort doesn't turn the ball over then The Eagles should win pretty easily.
Beaufort's Defense led by One of their Greatest DL'S in History in Eamon Smalls and Alvin Wilson will need to stop the North Augusta Run Game. The Yellowjackets QB Austin Harrell loves to run the Football. So The Eagles Defense will have to put some pressure on Harrell and stop him from Running the Football. North Augusta has a good RB also in DJ Curry. If Beaufort's "D" can stop the Yellowjackets from Running the Football then I again think the Eagles will win this game. Harrell can throw the football as well but if Beaufort can put some pressure on him then he gets rattled easily from what I can tell. The Yellowjackets love to throw the short passes when they do throw the Football. So Beaufort's Defense will have to watch for that.
North Augusta has one of the best Kickers in the State in Drew Stevens. He is a Weapon for them! But Beaufort has one of the best Kickers in the State also in Joe Caprarola. I think these Kickers will have a say-so on what happens in this game also.
Ok as for My Prediction on this game..... From everything that I have seen Online. I think Beaufort should win this game pretty Big. Doodles has Beaufort favored by 8, Massey has Beaufort winning this game 28-14 and Calpreps has Beaufort winning 28-7. As for BEF.....He says....
Beaufort 41
North Augusta 13
GO BEAUFORT EAGLES BEAT THOSE NORTH AUGUSTA YELLOWJACKETS!!!!
