Ok, now BOTH Dorman vs. Spartanburg threads on PFT have been hijacked by Byrnes vs. Vic6.
Byrnes fans say all the trashing has always been caused by Gaffney fans. No Gaffney fans around but trashing still going on. Hmmm....

For the record I'm just being provocative, not throwing any fans under the bus. ![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

Re: Dorman/Spartanburg
Having seen Dorman play earlier this year, as long as the Cavs have a balanced attack and like you said they can find another receiver to step up and the QB uses his feet I believe they can win...#1 is going to have to break some tackles at the line and play physical...A lot of preparation for a rival game is mental and that is where I believe Coach Gutshall is a difference, too....Best of luck to the Cavs...
Re: Dorman/Spartanburg
Thanks bro! I remember you...
And good luck to York this year!
I really don't know what to think about the game Friday night. Can't say I'm nervous, more like excited. Kinda like when the weather kicks up and the clouds go dark as midnight and you should probably be scared but you're just excited and looking forward to it.
This has to be the best Viking team we've seen in years. Both ball clubs are playing good football now. Dorman isn't great but they are good. They are definitely a 2nd half team this year. It takes us a while to get clicking. So I'm hoping we can hold the Vikes in check until the 2nd half and we'll see how things go from there. We have a new DC this year and I'll say the defense didn't skip a beat through the transition. If the Cavs can build a bit on what we've got we should do well in the post season. We've only lost 2 games by a combined score of 6 points and they were to the State Champ and runner up from last year. The bad thing is we have an equally close margin of victory to some of the weaker teams we've played this year.
I didn't see the Mauldin game last Friday as I was in Beaufort but I'm looking forward to seeing the Cavs play again!

I personally think in my heart of hearts that Dorman will win Friday night. And I wouldn't blame any Vike fans for thinking the same thing...that Dorman will win. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)
