BEAUFORT AT MYRTLE BEACH POLL 11/19/21

Beaufort is coming into this game with a Record of 10-2. The Eagles are Avg. 31 Points a Game and Giving up 13 Points a game. Beaufort is coming off a BIG 42-10 Win over North Augusta. The Eagles have a Record of 5-1 in Away Games so far this Season.
Myrtle Beach is coming into this game with a Record of 9-1. The Seahawks are Avg. 43 Points a Game and Giving up 13 Points a game. Myrtle Beach is coming off a Big 68-0 Win over Aiken. The Seahawks have a Record of 5-1 in Home Games so far this Season.
I am already so Excited about this Huge 4A Playoff Game!!!! It should be one of the best games in the State this Weekend. Beaufort has never beaten Myrtle Beach before. The Eagles have a Record of 0-3 against Myrtle Beach. These 2 teams played against one another last year in the Playoffs with Myrtle Beach winning 49-37 in a very exciting game to watch.
Doodles has Myrtle Beach favored by 13 Points over Beaufort. Do Y'all agree with him? Will Myrtle Beach win? or will Beaufort pull off the Upset? Let's hear your thoughts and predictions on this HUGE 4A State Playoff Game. I will give mine later on in the Week.

Also, another tidbit on this Huge Game is that in common opponents between the 2 teams, Beaufort beat South Florence 30-14, Myrtle Beach beat South Florence 21-17, Beaufort lost to Oceanside Collegiate 31-17 and Myrtle Beach beat Oceanside Collegiate 34-31. I don't know if this stat means much or this other stat that Myrtle Beach's previous 2 Opponents in the Playoffs had a combined record of 5-16. Beaufort's previous 2 playoff opponents had a combined record of 13-10.
Is anyone else as excited as me about this Big Game? Both Teams are playing great ball as of late. This game should be a very good game I think.

Good luck to our lower state Eagle brethren. Cheering for Coach Lybrand. There's something about tough cold weather teams that can run the football. Looking for Beaufort to pull this one out in a close one.

No precipitation is forcast for Friday night at the Beach, but temps in the low 40s with strong notherly winds, 15 to 20 mph. Both Beaufort and Myrtle Beach are warm weather teams. The weather should not impact either team any more than the other in this much anticipated matchup.
It's only Monday night, and my competitive juices are already swirling. By Friday, it will probably be a good thing that we have a 3.5 hour drive to calm down before kickoff. There is something special about these games in mid to late November. The stakes are so much higher, and the competition so much stiffer. This game should prove to be a true test for both teams.
And the other half of the Lower State bracket pits a West Florence squad that has been playing extra well as of late, against possibly the most prolific scoring 4A team of late, Hartsville. Any one of these teams seems poised to represent the Lower State very well in the State Chapionship game at Benedict College in early December.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at 9:00 am expecting a hudge crowd I hear. I’m not giving away no secrets or game plan info other than we got home field advantage and our starting linebacker returned to the field this past week against Aiken.
Beaufort is the real deal!!!! Stacked from top to bottom very physical. I know y’all are proud of them eagles and should be. Good luck may the best team win.

This would be a game that I would be willing to drive down Friday morning and stay overnight and come back on Saturday if I can swing it....
I would have to work something out in a couple of areas that might not be able to work out; but I'm with BEF, this looks like it will be a great match up. If I had to pick a winner, the only thing I can point to is "home field" as the only real advantage. Both teams are talented all over the field, offense, defense, special teams, coaching, and probably bus drivers as well. I would say it comes down to someone stepping up and making a big play, maybe a huge stop on "D" or a turnover that makes the difference. So with only thing that doesn't balance, I'll go with MB since they are at home!
I also think I would take the margin that DOODLES is showing, MYRTLE BEACH 312.7 BEAUFORT 288.3 13 points. I'm going to say that I'd take that 13 all day!

Thanks so much GwoodEagle2k1! I sure hope that you are right. Coach Lybrand would love to hear that. He is Greenwood born and bred. Greenwood has always been one of My favorite Upstate Teams. Good luck to your Eagles this week!!!!
