What in the Wide World of Sports does that mean?

Are the "Regular and Organizational Meetings" on January 18, 19 and 20 open to the public?

I think we can all be comforted by the fact that they will do as little as possible, and take the easy way out at every turn, at their upcoming meeting.

looks similar to what we have now. Need to reduce 5A to 16-24 teams, then do the rest. They won't so no need to debate

This is the "Official" guidelines...

Truth: They will meet during that week and do whatever they want to do with realignment and if you dare challenge them, unless you come with hat in hand begging, you don't have a snowball in Miami chance of getting them to change their minds. I fully expect things to be much like it is now, unless some attendance numbers change things in a significant manner. I know Fountain Inn High is coming online, not sure exactly when, but I'm not aware of any other new schools and the new school (Lucy Beckham) near Wando is getting close to 100% if not already at 100%. Those are the type of things will have the most impact on any change that might come with this realignment.

phillip simmons will go up from 2aa, lucy beckham will become playing for real, probably straight to 4aaaa and look for stags to go down to 4aaaa.

Beaufort will be on the bubble between 3A and 4A. One of the biggest in 3A or one of the smallest in 4A. The Pandemic has forced families out of the District and into Districts with better job oportunities. Given where our other District schools will slot in, Beaufort will most likely be petitioning to remain in 4A because of travel concerns.

Lucy Beckham will be a 4A school with full athletic participation next season. Class 4A in the Lowcountry will have some minor tweeks next year.

Sort of where Byrnes was in the 70's & 80's, stuck in the waiting zone every two years. Moving up meant being with Dorman, Spartanburg, Gaffney, travelling up Route 5 to Northwestern and Rock Hill in Region II and staying down meant Peach Blossom AAA with Clinton.

South and West Florence will be on the 4A/5A bubble. Depending on how they allocate the kids from Timmonsville one or both could move up. That will influence where Sumter ends up.

NMB will eventually move up. If not this time they will in two years. That will leave MB on an island like Conway was for so many years.
