1. Dutch Fork... 77-2-1 in the last 80 games...TK back with a vengeance. About 60 returning from the roster- Think the JV team was solid as well.
2. Fort D....LaPrad
3. Gaffney- Injun fans poor-mouthing about losing a bunch of seniors...I don't believe them..
4. South Pointe- Stallions can play ball
5. Hanna- Wing T nemesis.
6. Spartanburg- Jeter
7. Byrnes- Can't keep the Rebels down.
8. Daniel- Losing their QB...he was special.
9. Northwestern- Getting better each season
10. TIE- Greenwood- A work in progress/Sumter- Always solid

You know The LaPrad will figure it out by the time August rolls around... talent pool is always there and he will develop it.

I was just going by classification, but that's OK.

Ooops....my bad. Wasn't paying attention. For 5A then, I would move all the 5A teams up after I removed SP, DWD and Gwood, and add Dorman, Lexington, Goose Creek....and as much as it pains me, an Honorable Mention to Chapin.

Happy New Year!

Think Lexington lost a lot to graduation. Don't see them sniffing the top ten.

I also have my doubts about Dorman. Haven't been the old Dorman for a couple of years. Now they go through a coaching change.

Rebs have no excuse in 2022. Loaded isn’t even the word. The next two classes are as good and deep with talent as Byrnes has ever had.

DF brings a lot back from the roster. Have one of the best RBs around in Green, plus depth at RB...outstanding crop of young receivers. OL lost some to graduation, but the subs got a lot play time, and this group looks to be a little more athletic. Defense returns a lot....Johnson, Camp and Buetow on the DL, Perry and Hinton at LB and Danley and Taylor in the secondary. Defense will be tough. If the QB lives up to the potential, this could a special team. Have to wait and see.

Knotts better get improved QB play. Saw a weakness there against lesser opponents when it didn't matter. But was totally exposed in state championship game where he was responsible for a 14 pt swing in the game.
