The same thing is happening at the smaller levels in basketball. Put these Private schools in their own league. Its absolutely ridiculous that Greys Collegiate and Schools like them are participating at the 2A level. They're killing it for the true 2A schools. Get them the he## out.

And York Prep....ranked in the top 40 in the nation. They haven't lost a game in state or out of state. They went through their region like a freight train.

Completely agree just based off the fact those types can openly recruit and non private schools can't. It's an unfair advantage plain and simple. They need to be banned from winning region and also banned from the state playoffs. Have all the private schools have their own tournament for championships.

Then complain to your favorite AD. The geniuses at the SCHSL will quickly tell you that they serve at the pleasure of the member institutions. Everybody complains about the Southside Christians, Gray's, York Prep, Oceanside, etc. But then nobody seems to get together to do anything about it. I could care less what they do, but they should be put in their own classification.
