South Florence multi-sport athlete killed in Myrtle Beach shooting

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The South Florence community is mourning Monday following the death of 17-year-old DyQuavyon "Quay" Dickens.
Dickens was a three-sport athlete playing both football, track and field, as well as basketball at South Florence High School.
The Horry County Coroner's Office confirmed to ABC15 that he was the victim of a deadly shooting that injured multiple people in downtown Myrtle Beach late Saturday night into Sunday morning.
On Monday, three people were put in custody in relation to the shooting.
