The Florence Buc-ees is the same size as the ones I've been to in Texas, but it is not big enough. The state improved the on-off ramps and added traffic signals to handle all the additional traffic. The south bound exit to SC-321 now splits and there's a ramp that goes directly into the Buc-ees parking lot. They've got bill-boards up and down I-95 and they are working, the parking lot is full of out-of-state plates.
I can recommend the brisket and the Texas cheesesteak burrito.

QT is pretty good. Is Buc-ees better? I am curious as a "gas station cuisine connoisseur"....I have to go back to Mr. Quick Foods way back when and their fried chicken strips and potato wedges...umm....good.

Been by there a few times while they were building it. I'll have check them out next time now that they're open, never seen that many gas pumps before.

I can't say, I don't think I've ever eaten at a QT. But if you're in the area it's worth checking out.

Bucees is outstanding
Qt is my normal go to but they don’t compare.
Bucees is like universal studios to qt being the county fair.
The beef jerky deli alone is worth the visit
The smell of the hot nuts when you hit the door will likely lead you in the direction of buying them.
The restrooms are worth holding it.
I visit the one in st Augustine every month. Also the 2 on 75 in Ga
And the 75 plus gas pumps mean no wait.
Friendly staff and plenty of people .
No waiting at checkout.
Decent prices also but prepare to spend because you’ll see something you don’t necessarily need but want.
Can’t wait til they build the one in Anderson
Oh and the bbq
Fresh hot and ready

I like QT, but is a lowly imposter when compared to Buc-ees. Never thought I would dream of eating brisket from any type of convenience store. But I did there and it was great. They make their own fudge which I will eat until I get sick. First time one goes in, you will waste 30 minutes just walking around. These places almost double as tourist attractions for some reason. But the food is great.

OK....when is Buc-ees opening more in SC...Charleston, Columbia, Greenville?
A couple at Caesars Head and Six Mile would be nice...

I think they are about to open open one in Anderson. I don't look for them to open one in a big metro area. It seems their methos is to sort of get close to a big area, but kind of get about 20 miles out on the open interstate where there is plenty of traffic, but easy in, easy out.

I love Buc'ees!!!! I went to My First Buc'ees in April on My Trip down to Florida. I was really impressed with all that they have there. I will definitely go there again.
