Based upon last year and what they have coming back, South Florence should be a top 5 team.

With the SC High School Transfer Portal running through Greenville HS who knows what to think about them.....

I'm by no means downplaying your opinion but Greenwood has beaten Greenville twice in the past 2 years. 2020 on the road and 2021 at home for the region title. They were ranked ahead of Greenwood both times..... Nothing to do with this year obviously but I'm just saying....

forgot NW was in 4A now..look for them to be right at the top

everyone saying SP, but we will see with their new coaching staff

This. I am not sure why some college hasn't offered Porter a job as he might be the best recruiter in the state. Noticed he picked up a couple more last week, including one high level recruit from Wren. And the wide out that everyone is recruiting, yea he spent his first two years at Eastside.

As far as SP? They better just be able to put talent everybody to the point where nothing else matters. The head coaching hire was a head scratcher. Went down to Marlboro County and pretty much ran a good football program in the ditch. Then gets the SP gig? I guess who you know, not what you know, must have really come into play here.

Greenwood is good indeed. I however like the teams I have ahead of them a little better. Northwestern and Ridgeview were teams that came close to playing for the 5A upper state title last season. South Pointe although they have a new coach they return a wealth of talent. Well Greenville is growing LOL. Myrtle Beach was a young team last season that will be much improved.

Greenwood returns a wealth of talent from a team that could've very well won it last year. SP edged them out late and that team was young. Greenwood has seemingly always been overlooked, even in years that they won the titles. Keep watching.

Greenwood should be 1 or 2 in the 4A rankings. They will see real soon. We return many starters from last year. I like being the underdog. lol
