I just had something come up and I will not make this tournament.
Will any poster be attending this event and if so can you get us a few updates?
This is a loaded loaded field of teams. I think I'm going to pick Gray to win this one.

Not sure what the records were for each team, but Byrnes won the tourney.

The tournament was very good ,but demanding because most of the games were played with only a 10 minute break
in between games and that is if you didn't have to walk to your next field! Byrnes looks like a total different team mainly the secondary that may have been the worst in the state last year!
Byrnes had a chance to play against Dorman and Boiling springs and both were good games with Byrnes beating both!
Only lost came to Gray in pool play but in semifinal Byrnes beat them I think like 32-8! Gray completely just ran out of gas and that's been my argument with their fan base about them competing in bigger classifications! However , just seeing those type of athletes and knowing they are 2a is just head scratching!
Very great tournament, and region 2 5a is going to be must football every Friday night!
