Dutch Fork Offense- New Faces

Defense from last season returns almost to a man, with just a couple new faces. Dutch Fork Offense has some interesting new faces that are coming to the program. QB Appler came last season and had a good deal of play time and looks to be the #1 QB going into the fall. He looks the part- 6'4" 205+ lbs. Has the tools to be an awesome QB and is a rising Senior. That being said have a new face, Jonathan Hunt, is a new QB from out of state I believe...6'1" 220 lbs rising Junior...reminds me some of Graeson Underwood from a few seasons back at QB. Limited film on him but he looks solid and should press Appler and the others at QB for the starting nod.

Two new faces at WR, both rising Seniors- Braylen Bowers (from South Aiken, I believe) and Isaiah Jones (from Thorton Academy in Maine) should offer some good targets for the QB. Bowers looked good in the video I have seen. Jones is an Adidas All-American 6'4" 205. Looks really good in what little film I've seen...played for a top team in Maine...but, again...it's Maine...lol. Seriously, he looks to be a threat. Couple these with what is returning and Jarvis Green...think the offense will work fairly well this season. Ready for some football.

So true. The backup OL did get a lot of playing time with DF last season and have experience- the two returning starters and two of the other OL played a great deal together so that is good. Looking at some film there are some big kids out there, either new faces or some of the underclassmen grew over the summer. Coach Knotts and Coach Dixon run a top flight S&C program so they will be fit. DF always seems to find some big OL and the staff will have them ready- may not be quite as big but a little more athletic this season; have to see...And DF has a couple seasoned TEs returning. Not sure if there is a team in SC that uses the TEs as much as Knotts, especially in the run blocking scheme; but OL and DL are where games are won and championships are decided.

We are simular replacing oline .not quite sure whom went where .so we could be a big or a bit lighter and mobile. It will be the mental aspect how many wrinkles can they handle . We ave 300 on the line last year
Rt was 285 center was 270 other 3 were 300 to 330 .same qb a few recivers back . Rb last year is on D he big and strong. New running backs .one from 1st Baptist that is real good .both strong not sure on D but D back ups played a lot last year .
We lost some play makers probably will take a few lumps early . But it'll pay off.
Not sweating region . I'd just aswell play region 2
Non conference . With a few out sides.
We can't dump stall in region . Damn shame .we gain nothing from that game.
