Saw a little film on the scrimmage the other morning at Irmo against Greenville. Not much chatter about it. From what little I saw...QB looked pretty good, RBs looked solid (Green is a talent for sure), Receivers looked good, Defense looked good. Some good receivers and RBs. OL/DL both looked solid. LB/DB... sound. I think they have Northwestern coming up. Should be another good test.

Not sure what NW lost from last year but they had an outstanding defense last season. Interested to know what they lost. Should be a fun scrimmage.

Northwestern and Ridge View to 4A will be interesting for sure. Till someone beats SP you have to go with them, but both of those teams have the athletes, depth, coaching, resources and support to give SP all they want. Will be a great scrimmage for DF against NW. I thought DF had a tough schedule until I looked at Gaffney and Fort Dorchester...rough. Should be a fun year!

Unfortunately I had to work but I heard we beat Greenville pretty bad. We had 2 picks that could have went to the house and our offense scored 5 times. They only scored once or twice to my knowledge.

It's gonna be a fun season for sure. We have to come out swinging against SP. They are very well coached. I know DF and FD are playing Georgia teams along with Gray. I'm rooting for the Foxes and SC all the way. Good luck in Atlanta!

SP being well coached is not a sure fact. For some reason the brain trust at SP opted to hire the guy that managed to run the Marlboro County program into the ground after the previous coach left for York. Haven't talked to anybody that doesn't wonder how that guy got the job. Of course, with the talent that flows through SP you would have to really be clueless to screw it up.
