Daniel vs Greer

by stretch
The season begins this Friday and Daniel welcomes Greer to town. The last 4 times these teams have played have been all Yellow Jackets.

I went up to Broome yesterday and watched them play Union and it was a big blowout. They have some big boys up front but they weren’t dominating the line. Skill players are good athletes and their QB is decent. Defense looked good but Unions offense wasn’t good so I’m not sure what to expect come Friday.

One thing that has me nervous is the potential weather this Friday in Central. I don’t want to see a sloppy wet game to start the season. Hopefully we’ll see a better forecast throughout the week but I’m excited for the start of the climb back to the top of the mountain for a 3rd year in a row.

Stretch I’m looking forward to a good game.
This might be the toughest one on the schedule.

What about Hart County? They thumped Westside pretty good last season. I know that is last season, but not sure what Hart has coming back and what they look like. I don't think Greer or Hart will be too much of a threat. Someone said Seneca looked pretty good too...any optics on that?

Flour wins this one unless they pull a Dallas and have 17 penalties.

So Hart scrimmaged wren and westside Friday over at westside.
Beat the rams 21-20 in a half
Then beat wren 17-14 in a half
So they must be decent but honestly giving up that many points to those two teams doesn’t impress. Now it’s still a jamboree so who knows. We have them week 3 after a bye so I like our chances.

As far as the bobcats they put it on Franklin county the other night . But so did walhalla. And so did crescent last year . So take that for what it’s worth.

Their at Wade Hampton Friday . That team has a 24 game losing streak and if Seneca doesn’t make it 25 they got problems.

How are the Feckless Flamers this season? Still Feckless, I assume!

That would be DFoldman’s real team the Pickens blue flame. We called them flamers as well. Usually after a 49-0 throttling.

Pickens will continue to be fodder for anyone with a pulse. Understand they got beat by Wade Hampton in a jamboree. That takes things to a special level of futility.
