Get ready for the show!!

Post by Dorman#1 »

Friday Night Lights are back! As the Boys play a tough Greenville team! Coach Dustin Curtis comes in taking the reins from Gutshall, do you think he has what it takes to turn this team around? That’s what we’re going to find out this year!

I wish but I have to work the night shift! I probably won’t be able to watch a game until probably thanksgiving if the boys make it that far into playoffs but I will be listening in.

I tried to reach out on Twitter to get one but I never got an answer back from anyone.

Will find out a lot about Dorman Friday I figure. The recruiting machine that is Greenville High School has quite a few D1 players on the roster. Game is kind of a double edged sword for Dorman. A win is expected and would put them in a good frame of mind to take on the rest of the year. But lose, and one will wonder just how they are going to be able to deal with that region.

Nice. I don't actually have a player yet in mind to watch. I'll keep an eye on him and post some comments after the game. Good luck to the Vikes!

This is true. Beat them and well, they're a Greenville team. We SHOULD beat them. Lose to them though and it's a serious blow to a brand new outfit.

I think the best outcome is a close game that the Cavs win. A blowout usually means the other team just sucks. A loss means you suck.

Showing that you know how to win a close game works on all levels. Keeps you from getting cocky. Gets your heart into the game right out of the block. It shows that you have what it takes in the clutch.

Having said that, it's the coach's first year. Let him go lay an egg. Dorman has nothing to lose Friday night. I hope that they play that way.
