Dutch Fork vs Hough NC

Hough is a NC power....hope DF shows up. What little I have seen, DF looks solid. Was a little concerned about the OL...not anymore. Big, Strong, Athletic...they seemed to play well against a good Northwestern squad. QB looked good...RBs are deep and solid Lodge, McGuire and Jarvis Green. TE/WR DF has several that are outstanding, and also are excellent blockers. Expecting some good things from #17 Isiah Jones.

Defense returns most of the starters. Some are playing slightly different positions but look good. Should be a stingy unit.

Have to see if they show up for Hough. Will be a tough, tough game. Hope the Foxes can get the "W".

I'd be tempted to go to this game but I feel my calling is to support my Cavs in their first game with our new staff. I don't remember ever going to a Greenville game so there's a bit of novelty there also.

Hough is a really good program as you mentioned. They won't be lacking size or athleticism that's for sure.

I think DF gets it done by no less than 14 pts.
I seem to recall Hough being one of those schools that start slow and then get rolling late in the season.

DF from what I saw last Friday is likely far closer to mid-season form than most High schools.

...no idea. Probably against Fort D. at some point in the playoffs. MaxPreps has DF ranked well ahead of Hough...so no clue. Just want them to play well. We have a tough non-region schedule, and Lexington is a better team for sure this year in region, so it's going to be tough. NW and Greenville are good teams and DF looked solid against them. Have to wait and see.

Hough is ground and pound then they’ll hit you with some down field throws. Both sides will be locked in so it’s going to be a heavy hitting battle. I think Jarvis will have a huge game. Go Foxes!

Tough tough game to start the season, on the road...win, lose or draw...a good way to start the season. Hope DF shows up and plays well. Should be a good game.
