Thanks for that summary and the projections.
(For those that are not familiar with the 4A playoff-points system...) Big-16 teams that finish the season with a winning record are worth an extra 1/2 point to their opponents. (4.5 win, 3.5 loss) All other 4A opponents are worth 4 points for a win, 3 points for a loss.

Mauldins max points should be 36.0 with mark offs , with a win Friday would cause a three way tie for third in the region

Spartanburg 4

Wade Hampton 4
J L Mann 4
Riverside 4
Hillcrest 3.5

Boiling Springs 4.5
TOTAL WOULD BE 35.5

BIG 16 is set before the season starts... that is the half point bonus.
Division One is determined once the 32 teams are set. Not the same thing...

Welcome to the board.
1) Head-to-Head wins. If one of the three defeated the other two, that team is the region champ.
2) Points. If no team wins the Head-to-Head, "Points, with markoffs" determines the region champ.
If two or more are still tied - -
3) Opponent Wins (with markoffs)
4) Opponent Losses (with markoffs)
5) Points (without markoffs)
6) Opponent Wins (without markoffs)
7) Opponent Losses (without markoffs)
8) Coin Flip
Once the Region Champ is determined the remaining two teams start back at the top (Head-to-Head) to determine the Region runner-up.

Once you get past Region Champ (Rebels) and Region Runner up (Gaffney) it really doesn't matter as there are only three "seedings".
Region Champs are seeded first
Then Region Runner Ups
Then everyone one else who makes the playoffs.
A win over Boiling Springs and you are looking at #11 instead of #12. So instead of turning left to go to Spring Valley, you would turn right and go to Lexington....
