Watched this game on broadcast. It doesn’t matter how mad Spartanburg gets they aren’t in a league with DF. Only IF DF comes out flat and has stupid penalties and turnovers can I see them making it a game. Jeter is a good QB and they have a couple other players that has skill but as a team they look discombobulated, especially once Hughes settled down in the second half. LH reminds me of Hough and DF would’ve been a better matchup for them. Very big on both lines and extremely fast RB in the backfield. Spartanburg hung tough at first but they were too much to over come. Ironically LH is a neighboring HS to Creekside (Dutch Fork Sept 3rd opponent) much like Irmo-DF. They don’t play each other but they did scrimmage before the start of the season and it was a very even match.
