Coach Sweeney's 1975 Fort Johnson team was 12-1 but lost in lower state championship when they fumbled twice in last 3 minutes of the game when they were up by a touchdown. They were the number one ranked team in the state at the time. He averaged over 9 wins a year in his six years at Fort Johnson. Should have never left because his hard ass approach was a good fit at F.J. back then.
