Daniel vs Hart County

After our early BYE week Daniel is at home playing Hart County. I definitely need to see some good football after seeing West Oak and SC Spartans this past Friday.

Daniel is 2-0 and has played good so far on offense scoring over 50 points in our first two games. What’s crazy is I still think the offense has scratched the surface on how dominant they can be. Defense has been playing well so far. They have given up a few big plays but they are +4 in the turnover margin and have only given up 28 points. Pretty good for a lot of first year starters and they will continue to get better.

Hart County is coming in 1-1 losing to rival Elbert County 31-28 and defeating Apalachee 28-7 last week. They run a one back offense, 11 and 12 formations with a lot of TE motion and guard pulls. They definitely want to run the ball more they have a pretty good RB and a big OL. The receivers and tight ends look like good athletes but the QB is not great. The defense has big boys and if you were to pick a winner based off who looks better off the bus you’d pick Hart County. But they are undisciplined on the DL and let big holes open up for runs. Secondary got beat alot against Wren who has a freshman QB and won’t be very good this year. I don’t usually get into special teams but watching their Kickoff team has me excited because they give up a lot of KO and we have plenty of dangerous returners.

Not sure if this is your toughest regular season game, but it won't be the easiest. Hart is not horrible, but not too good from what I have seen. Never know. About like Greer I suspect...although I saw some film on Greer...they are not very good, so who knows.

They beat westside in a scrimmage
Who just destroyed Hanna
Remember westside Byrnes fans?
Their the team that dropped damn near 60 on y’all last year
The same team that lost to bhp two weeks ago
Just sayin
I know I know
Can’t compare scores right
But who knows
Saw film on them and I’m encouraged but that’s why you play the game.

Pickens lost to Southside Friday terrible
Riverside lost to woodmont terrible
Walhalla also lost to woodmont terrible
Crescent lost to Pickens terrible

So the Westside team that scores 60 on Byrnes last year, beat Hanna this year and lost to BHP this year???? Pretty sure that’s illegal for the same team to be together for over a year.

Let’s face it Daniel is going to win 3 straight this year and probably 4 before being reclassified to 4A. Unfortunately besides a couple teams like Daniel, bhp and wren that whole classification is the old 2A. Heck if those 3 teams played in this new classification the last 20 years one of them would have won every year. Nothing against Daniel they are where they are. They will probably win the next 30 in a row which is great. But Fruster doesn’t want to play anyone tough. Sucks they won’t even get challenged. He knew Greer and Hart was down this year. Pretty funny he canceled against Greenville for the Easley jamboree. Didn’t want to get challenged.

Greenville definitely looks like a challenge with their 0-3 record. Pretty sure Greenville also hosted their own jamboree the same night as the Easley Jamboree, but clearly you know more than anyone else. Stay mad buddy, the old saying is still true. “They all hate us”
