Daniel vs Pickens

This week we are at home taking on Pickens. Better known as the "Feckless Flamers" to their #1 alum DFOldman.
Pickens is 2-1 with wins against Crescent and Franklin County (GA) and a loss to Southside. Despite the winning record they are not very good. They run an option offense but they like to throw the ball a good bit. They do have some decent players like #2 who if given a lane can make you pay. But the defense won't have the horses to keep up with our players and it will get ugly for them.
This is a rivalry game despite how one sided it has been since the turn of the century. I have been going to games since 2005 and I've never seen Daniel lose to Pickens in that time. If i had to list teams that I didn't like Pickens would be in 3rd behind Seneca and BHP. Since they can't beat us they look for ways to hinder us going forward by instigating fights or injuring our guys on purpose. I expect more of the same this Friday but hopefully we send them back home with a good clean ass-whooping and keep everyone healthy.
