Dutch Fork vs North Augusta

Post by DFOLDMAN »

Another week and another road game. Middle of September and still no home games for the Foxes. NA and DF was a good rivalry for a while but since the classification changes, this rivalry has faded. Not sure what NA brings to the table but I know their record is not the best.

DF was able to rest some key starters last week. Still awaiting a healthy starting QB. Appler went down early in the Spartanburg game and has been sidelined since. Have used about 5 different QBs in the interim...need the starter back. Not sure if he will be back this game or not. Jarvis Green was able to sit out the Stratford game - a much deserved rest.

Not sure how this game will go but DF needs to cut down the mistakes and play mistake free ball. Too many mess ups against Stratford.

Just have to wait and see. Have not seen any film on NA.

I honestly couldn’t tell much of a difference between Appler and his backups.

They all seem very confident and well coached with talent to match.

Dutch Fork wins this one for sure, but North Augusta won't just roll over and play dead. The Jackets are a much better team than their record indicates. They will be heard from come Region play. Games such as this will hone their resolve.

No idea what NA will bring. It's a game at a time right now...each game is high adventure until we get some of our dinged up guys back in the line up. Have to see if we have enough in the tank for NA.

This will be a 42-14 type game
I could see DF playing a lot of 2s just to get their starters some more rest Nd back healthy

Not sure if the QB will be back or not. Just want to win...one point or 30 points...get healthy before region starts. If Appler is still out, I assume they will rotate the QB duties again. Green should be rested. He took a break last week and let McQuire, Lodge and Anderson carry the load.

Have to see how it goes this evening. Son passed the DF - NA JV game last night at the Silver Foxes Stadium and it was 27-0 DF at the half.

Hope Foxes play a good game tonight.

DFoldman saw your opponent for next week ST Francis (MD) on espn last night . Lots of size and athletes. They have a brutal running attack. They are extremely undisciplined and make a lot of mistakes. Their difference is aggressive and look to strip the ball on any and all occasions. Their special teams play is atrocious. You may be able to equalize the game there.just some info I thought you might like.
