#2 in 5a vs #2 in 3a

Probably game of the week in the upstate. Only south pointe and s Florence would be a better game and that’s saying something with Gaffney/ Northwestern playing.
Btw Powdersville is #3 , not that it matters after Hillcrest wins this game . If I didn’t have other obligations I would be at this game.

I think the way the first couple of possessions play out could be HUGE in the outcome of the game. If Powdersville can score and keep the Rams out of the end zone and get the momentum, this one could be a full four quarter contest. The big question is depth. Can Powdersville match up for the full four quarters or does Hillcrest run them down over time?

When Hillcrest came to Daniel to scrimmage they had some big boys on the OL. They did a good job giving the backs a crease and they burned us a few times doing that. Didn’t get to see a lot of passing but Judy can spin it real good. I’ll take the Rams.

I’ve seen both teams so I’m going off that. Even though I didn’t get to see as much of Hillcrest as I wanted to due to their scrimmage with Daniel being shortened. I’m picking Hillcrest but I never said it would be easy. I think they have better depth and line play. Powdersville does have playmakers and if Hillcrest lays an egg or turns the ball over they could get in trouble.
