Another Friday night, more trash taken to the dumpster. This week it was the Hawks from Hanahan. The score was 35 to nothing with a running clock at the 7:30 minute mark of the second quarter and the Hawks had yet to even muster a first down. The final score was 49 to 14 after everyone who had on a green uniform saw playing time.

I want to personally call out every sports writer in this state who had Hanahan ranked higher then Beaufort for most of the season. Y'all are as much trash as the Hawks are. There is no way that anyone with 2 cents worth of knowledge about football, could possibly think that Hanahan should even be on the same field as this Eagles team. You had to look at wins and losses and not who those games were against.

I don't know who we play next for sure, but your playoff run is going to be "one & done". Beaufort finally put together a decent game, albeit only a quarter and a half of playing time. This team looked locked and loaded tonight. With the Region Championship on the line, Beaufort finally had something to play for besides personal glory and gaudy statistics. And it showed. The Eagles had nearly 350 rushing yards, a punt return TD, and nearly 100 yards of KO return yardage. Add a 2 fumbles caused, 1 recovered, and an interception, and you have the recipe for a laugher. The Hawks did manage 2 scores after the game was well decided, and a bunch of starters were lounging on the sidelines with their feet kicked up.

I can see that we are about to begin another journey towards the ultimate goal. Great weather tonight, a very nice crowd, and even a "friday Night Blitz" game on WSAV Channel 3 out of Savannah. Can't wait till next week when the fun starts for real.

Congrats to the Eagles. I'm very happy for all the great Beaufort fans on the board. I hope to meet many of you again and some for the first time at state if possible.

GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!

Yeah, Baby!!!! My Beaufort Eagles beat Hanahan 49-14 this past Friday Night and are the Region 8 3A Champions!!!! Way to go Beaufort Eagles!!!! I am so proud of them!!!! Beaufort improves to 8-1 overall and finished up 4-0 in Region 8 3A.

Beaufort completely dominated this game over Hanahan. I thought that this was the Eagles best game of the season. Beaufort's Offense, Defense, and special teams all looked good. I thought that this was Beaufort QB Samari Bonds's best game of the season. Bond's is only a Sophomore but led The Eagles Superbly. He had 2 Rushing Tds on the night. Beaufort RB Kacy Fields had another Big game with another 3 Tds. Beaufort Athlete Colton Phares had a huge night for The Eagles with a 69-yard reverse for a Td and a Highlight Reel 71-yard kickoff return for a TD. Beaufort's Defense looked great again also. No Team has scored more than 23 points against them this season and The Eagles "D" is only giving up 11 points a game. . This Beaufort Team is playing their best ball and is peaking at the right time. I think this Eagles Team is playoff ready!!!!

The Eagles Nest was rocking and packed!!!! Like Penguin said, this was WSAV'S Friday Night Blitz Game of the Week. WSAV said that they love televising Beaufort. It is one of their favorite places to televise a game.

I am so happy!!!! This Beaufort Team is really, really, good and fun to watch. It has been an exciting season so far!!!! I hope to see My Eagles go far in the 3A Playoffs. I can't wait to see what they do!!!! Beaufort is Region 8 3A Champs Baby!!!!! I want to say A BIG THANKS to The Beaufort Eagles Coaching Staff for the Awesome Season so far!!!!

Next up for Beaufort is Orangeburg-Wilkinson next Friday Night to open up the 3A Playoffs. This game will be played in the Beautiful Eagles Nest. I can't wait!!!!

That’s usually what happens when you lose a head coach and handful of starters and playing freshman this late in the season. They where a different team earlier in the yr. But a 4A team couldn’t get it done last yr, had to move down a classification and try again something to be proud about.

I see that we have another hater. Maybe because his butt is still hurting from his team being shut out by the "Nasty" Eagle defense. As for the gist of that crappy post, our School District has manipulated attendance zones so that Possum Hill and We Don't Need It High Schools have more than the 10 to 12 students who actually want to go there. Because of that, the 135 ADM numbers at Beaufort High have been reduced from over 1800 to somewhere around 1300. The SCHSL is the entity who determines classifications, not the Schools or the Districts.

Beaufort may not have won the chip last season, but we were in it. As for this season, we went 1 and 1 against 5A teams with another one choosing to back out. Go figure, they were from Berkeley County too! There is an old saying about the tossing of rocks while residing in a glass enclosure. You might want to familiarize yourself with it before challenging some of those who actually know what they are talking about.

As for being proud, damn right I am proud. Beaufort is now one of, if not the, flagship High School Program in the Lowcountry.

Slick, I know that OB-Wilkinson always seems to have good athletes. The Bruins will definitely put up a fight. But I think that My Eagles will be ready.

What the Heck are you talking about gator guy???? . Almost all teams go thru injuries, lose their head coach, play freshmen and even have players or coaches pass away. But the team still has to play. Beaufort made it all the way to the 4A State Title Game last season. How did your team do gator guy? Like Penguin said, When Whale Branch opened up they took some students from Beaufort High and Battery Creek. Also, there are a lot of Charter and Private Schools opening-up taking students away. Beaufort is a 3A School now and Shutout 5A Goose Creek this season, played 5A Fort Dorchester tough and The Eagles beat all 3 4A Schools that they played. So that is a HUGE YES that I am proud of them!!!! Beaufort has a really good team this year and should go far in the 3A Playoffs.
