Turf fields are a definite benefit to those teams with speed and quickness. That is why Duck Ditch's grass field is calf high.

I was concerned about the grass at Goose Creek. My concern increased when I was told that our team did not practice on grass leading up to the game. In the end, my concerns were unfounded, our team did fine.
