Playoffs begin this week and my Lions cruised in region play. We earned the #1 seed and this week we play Southside. We haven't played Southside since 2011 where we won 43-0. Apparently we have never lost to them ever in the 15 times we have played.

Southside went 4-6 overall and 2-3 in region play. Their region wins come against a bad Palmetto team and Fountain Inn, a JV team forced to play varsity. They have common opponents with us, they beat DFOldmans Feckless Flamers, then lost to Easley and Walhalla. Their other win on the year was Carolina so no wins to really be impressed by.

They run a spread offense and they do have some athletes on offense but their OL is very not good. The defense is a 4-2-5 set and looks pretty bad overall so they will have a long night against our offense. They won't be the worst team we've faced this year, but they're gonna need a miracle this Friday.

Unfortunately out of town this week. So I hope I’m not missing the last game of the year . Hold it down stretch.
Hahahahaha I almost got through that with a straight face.

Time to take off the leash and let the dogs hunt.

Love having Hyatt up there. Ordered my youngest one of those black jerseys with Hyatt’s name and number for Christmas. How does USC let all the talent get away from them like they do? Have they offered Green?

Nope....neither Clemson or Carolina have offered Jarvis Green. He committed to JMU...program on the rise. It's a shame...he can run with speed, run with power, elusive, great hands, and an all-around good kid. Some of the experts in the Midlands had Cooper Johns (River Bluff) and Jonah Norris (Lexington) ahead of Jarvis ....they found out the real deal in region play. He's scored 16 TDs the last 4 games.

Hyatt is a lot of fun to watch! I have to admit I do like those UT black jerseys!

49-14 win. Probably the worst game we’ve played all season. Our QB missed way too many throws tonight. Refs weren’t on our side either calling back two. Nonetheless we still earned next week and we have a legend coming to town.

Play calling was horrible tonight I’m not sure what the deal was. Last year we played flat in round 1 and 2 but things still ended well for us.

Daniel is bored. Think they have been for a while. Hard to get emotionally up for games when you know you won't be challenged. As competition increases in the playoffs I would imagine a stronger focus.
