In looking at the brackets the falcons will have to beat Wilson in round 1
Most likely Hartsville in round two
Highly likely w. Florence in round 3
And then a showdown with s. Florence in the lower state
That would be one hell of a showing.

Beaufort defeated South Florence in Round 1 last season. Then North Augusta @ North Augusta in Round 2. Went to Myrtle Beach and beat the Seahawks in Round 3, and finished up the lower state finals by beating West Florence.

So, it can be done, not impossible. But for the 2nd year in a row, Region 6AAAA is by far the toughest, top-to-bottom, in that classification. I could argue that South Florence is the best team in the state right now. Hats off to all of those schools, those coaches, and those players, for doing what is necessary to achieve that status.

I noticed that. I'm sure they're scratching their heads,...."Wait,... the number 1 seed has to get through them?"

They better not look ahead, Wilson is much better than their record indicates,...sleep on them at your own peril.
