The Lions advanced to round 2 after an ugly game against Southside this past Friday. This week we play Woodruff in round 2, the same team we played in the second round last season. When we played last season they gave us a better game the Clinton did so that’s something Wolverine Legend can be proud of.

Woodruff has irrelevant wins over Chapman, Fountain Inn, Chesnee, Emerald, Union and Broome. They lost by 1 score to BHP, Chester and Broome. Then big losses to Mann and Clinton.

They have good players on both sides of the ball, definitely more than Southside. I think they’re going to come in similar to how most teams have and try to run the ball and hold on to it so they can keep our offense on the sideline.

Should be a blowout. Final score will just depend on if Daniel gets bored, or they are totally engaged. Regardless, just another practice for Daniel

I don't think the Woodruffians have a shot in this game. If it was at Woodruff, I would say maybe the Daniel buses break down and they can't get to Varner, but that isn't an option.

If we moved the game to Thursday then I’d get nervous because our last loss was a playoff game on Thursday. I like a good rainy football game so I want it to stay on Friday.

No changes coming, this game will be on Friday.

will be an uphill battle for sure...and that's just getting the woodruffians to get off the bus!!!
