Daniel vs Powdersville

Daniel advances to round 3 after beating Woodruff this past week. In round 3 we travel to South Easley to play Powdersville.
Powdersville comes into the game 11-1 with their only loss on the year coming to Hillcrest. Their best wins this season are against Abbeville and BHP. They have rolled in their first two playoff games against a common opponent in Crescent and this past week against Chester.
They are led by their RB who is a Virginia Tech commit. He’s a very explosive player, definitely the best our defense has seen all year. He plays DB too and is very good on that side of the ball as well. They had a 4 star LB but he tore his ACL against Hillcrest but his backups are still very solid.
The winner of this game will be the team whose defense shows up. Both offenses can score at will, Daniel averages 51 ppg and Powdersville averages 48 ppg. It should be a great game between two top teams in 3A.
