BEAUFORT-31 Gilbert-21 *FINAL*

What a game. Let me start off by commending the Gilbert Indians on a great season, and on playing a great game. They were well prepared and did everything that they could to win.
In the end, Beaufort just had a few more really good athletes than Gilbert does. The Indians actually too the lead 21-17 on the second play of the 4th quarter. That lead lasted less than 20 seconds as their biggest mistake of the evening happened. After pooch kicking on kickoffs all night long, they tried to surprise Beaufort by kicking it deep. Colton Phares took the kick, and 90 yards and about 25 missed tackles later, Beaufort was back in front. This time, for good. After turning the Indians back and creating a Colton Phares interception that he returned to their 35 yard line, Beaufort took just 2 plays for Kacy Fields to seal the deal by running around, through, and OVER, the Gilbert defense for the deciding score.
Now it's off to see Pedro and and feast on some MILDkat surprise. Yup, the big city better get ready cause the Gang Green and their rabid fan base will be there next Friday to try and secure our second straight State Championship game.

Great win for you guys ..... Unfortunately though you now have to face the "Nasty Cats" in the worst place imaginable....behind "THE WHITE WALLS"!!!! I just leave this right here!!!
Please pay particular attention to Coach Calbrese's interview.....because this amplifies the sentiments of every team we've faced this year....Camden found that out last night as well.....

This is going to be a really good game. Now that Double Douche is no longer around talking down every other school in the State, perhaps we can agree to allow this game to be decided on the field instead of on a message board. We surely are not underestimating Dillon, and Dillon best not underestimate us.
2 schools with winning traditions. I do actually believe that this will be the 1st ever meeting between the 2 schools. I know that in 1978 at home, and in 1979 on the road, Beaufort played and defeated the old Bennettsville Green Gremlins.

Thanks. I long for the day when 96 is a perennial contender once more. Having been watching High School football in this state since 1964, I have some very fond memories of the good old days and seeing some of the legendary programs at the height of their successes.

Thanks so much, CATSPROWL!!!! I am really looking forward to our trip to Dillon next week on Thanksgiving Weekend. Congrats to both Beaufort and Dillon on making it this far!!!! This is shaping up to be a great game.

EAGLES WIN!!!! EAGLES WIN!!!! EAGLES WIN!!!! Beaufort beat Gilbert 31-21 in a very exciting game. The Eagles improve to 11-1 Overall and will make the trip to Dillon next week to face The Wildcats in the 3A Lowerstate Title Game.
Beaufort RB Kacy Fields had another great game with 2 TDS. Eagles QB Samari Bonds ran Beaufort's Offense to perfection with a couple of nice runs on his own and a TD. Colton Phares had a Highlight Reel 89-yard Kickoff return for a TD. Beaufort's Defense played great again also. It was a great overall team win for The Eagles.
The Eagle's Nest was packed on both sides!!!! I was so happy to see that!!!! Gilbert brought a Big Crowd and The Indians had a very good team.
I am having a great Football Weekend so far as Beaufort won, My South Carolina Gamecocks got the Huge win tonight over #5 ranked Tennessee, and hopefully My Miami Dolphins can get the win Tomorrow.
Next week will be a fun week as I get to enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday with My Family and then Friday, I get to watch My Beaufort Eagles take on Dillon. I am already so Excited!!!!

I forgot to say that Beaufort finished up a perfect 8-0 in their Beautiful Eagles Nest this season!!!! Great Job Eagles!!!! Beaufort almost always plays tough at Home. I will miss seeing them play in The Eagles Nest this season. But hopefully, they will continue the unbeaten streak at Home again next season.
. Now My Eagles get to be road warriors.
