AA DII Brackets

Brackets are out. Bishops like their path to Lower State Championship game. Woodland would do BE a favor by beating the Bluff and saving a trip up there in a rematch of last year's LS game. Down side is playing the same team twice in the same year. BE soundly beat Woodland two weeks ago..playing the best all-around game of the year. BE still has some improvements to be made before they can be considered a serious contender for a 3-peat. Understand the Bluff has speed and athleticism with many returners from last year.
As usual, most of BE's opponents this year have been bigger, faster, and more athletic than the Bishops. BE has been in a rebuilding mode this year after losing 22 seniors from last year's squad. The excellent 4-man coaching staff has done an almost miraculous job of moving the pieces around to make the team competitive ,..after 2 season opening losses to AAAA West Ashley and AAA state champ favorite Hanahan. There are only 2 players on this year's team that have ever experienced a region or playoff loss. BE is still making a few player adjustments to prepare for the playoffs.
The real season begins now!
