Conway Upgrades - Turf Field

Nice!! But lets be honest, Conway needs upgrades in other areas more. Never seen field turf, video boards or stylish uni's win football games. They should have upgraded the weight room.....Hire an ON CAMPUS coaching staff....and let's make it a solid staff. Not a bunch of retired career B-Team coach's! C'mon Man!!!!

I've always liked that stadium, but I hope they design the field to withstand flooding. There's a canal to the south that leads to the Waccamaw river. It looks like the field is only 5-7 feet higher in elevation than the banks of the canal. I think it has flooded at least twice in the last 15 years.

It’s not the field drainage. It’s always been fine but too much at one time causes issues with the sidelines. Not much we can do about Crabtree swamp overflowing when you get 30 inches of rain in two days. We’re behind in facility upgrades with the financial problems of the previous coach. Twenty years ago we had the best around but we have some work to do.

But Berkeley still has them old moldy slats of tin and the only school getting better in Berkeley Co is
Cane Bay maybe Berkeley should quit investing in old cars to beat up and start worrying about

I’m hearing they are starting 2nd round of interviews. Or is it the first round? Yeah that’s it! First round of interviews for the second round of applicants. Ok I got it now. Y’all have to excuse me….this is getting a little confusing.
