LOL!! You guys crack me up. I live that we play DF in this format to open the year. There can’t possibly be two coaches more likely to play the most vanilla of games. They will compete, but treat this like the scrimmage it is under the lights. I do believe playing DF last year set us up for the run we had by getting our young players in the fire early against a very talented and experienced team. I am not up on all things DF, so I don’t know what the reload looks like this year.

No disrespect here just my opinion! This is not going to be a measuring stick scrimmage. A victory over Dutch Fork is everything considering neither will play each other for a State Championship. A victory for Northwestern will not be a fluke scrimmage on Dutch Forks Watch!! The Silver Foxes has national ambitions and exposure to think about. It might just be a scrimmage to some…but! This is really a big deal. They are both State Championship contenders in 4A and 5A.

These early season things are usually a lot of mouthing and a bunch of penalties..Good to hit some else though in a game type atmosphere..

As much as I like a good game, I hope DF stomps a mudhole in NW, scrimmage or not. Nothing personal...lol
