Best thing that could happen is for the SCHSL to get out of the way and let the people that run the stadium take care of parking. These people know how to get folks in and out and how to handle parking. I'm sure they can even coordinate a shuttle service to and from the gate. Last year was a complete circus with power tripping SCHSL people running the show. We all know that will not happen.SF Band dad wrote: ↑Sun Jul 02, 2023 7:14 pmNow, they just need to manage the parking. There are very few paved lots near the stadium, but there are three grass fields adjacent to the stadium that are lined off as parking lots. There are two more about 1000ft and 3/8 of a mile southwest of the stadium. To the north, there are some small paved lots 1/4 mile north of the stadium at the arena and admin building, and more grass fields 1/3 of a mile north near the softball field.
I don't know what the traffic pattern will be, but if they try to funnel everyone into one or two entrances to collect parking fees, it will continue to be a nightmare. I understand they need to cover the costs of the games, but don't do it with parking fees collected at the entrance, just raise the price of a ticket or sell parking passes in advance.

I'm for playing at Dutch Fork...the trophy doesn't have far to travel that way.Justafan wrote: ↑Thu Jul 06, 2023 1:01 pmSchl has the feces touch.HoodRoad wrote: ↑Thu Jul 06, 2023 9:47 amBest thing that could happen is for the SCHSL to get out of the way and let the people that run the stadium take care of parking.
