1) I'm guessing Hampton County will play in 2A-6 this year, and might move up to 3A next year.

2) Estill's scheduled opponents are now scratching around for another game. (Or they get awarded a forfeit since Estill didn't show up.)

3) We now only have one school in the state named "Wade Hampton" which will surely reduce some confusion.

WHHS (498) + EHS (189) = 687 students

So,.... I'm pretty sure they'll stay in 2A.

Hey, SF Band dad. The SCHSL knew that these schools were merging for a while now. So the football schedules were not made until everyone knew they were merging together. Hampton County should have a pretty good football team this season. I can't wait to see what they do.
