"Something" changed overnight and my Windows 10 - MS Edge browser now logs me out immediately after the "you have successfully logged in" message.
I don't think the problem is with the forum, I tested the following browsers and they work fine:
- Mozilla Firefox
- Google Chrome
- iOS Safari
If you can't get in try another browser if you can. I will continue trying to figure out why MS Edge isn't working.
Edit: MS Edge users - scroll down to my next reply for the work-around.

Because it's a Microsoft product?

Re: Login problem with Windows 10 - MS Edge browser
MS Internet Explorer 11 - works fine
MS Edge - Still no joy - I suspect that there's a problem with the security settings that is causing our cookie to be eaten.
What's frustrating, PFT uses a modified version of the same phpBB software we use,.... MS Edge doesn't have the same problem on their website.
The good news - I didn't realize it until a few minutes ago, Windows 10 included MS Internet Explorer 11.
The work around
For those of you that may be using Windows 10 and don't have another browser:
- In the upper right menu of the Edge browser window you will see a button with three dots [ . . . ] on it, if you hover your mouse over it the text "More Actions" will appear. Click the button.
- The eighth choice down is "Open with Internet Explorer". Click it.
- MS Internet Explorer 11 will open, login normally.
If you check the box to login automatically you won't have to login the next time you use MS IE11.

So then what is edge?
I suspect that PFT is so broken that it actually stumbles past new MS securities.

It's a new-fangled, OS embedded browser that's supposed to enable all sorts of fancy stuff. I'm not sure yet what all it can do, but it looks like I just found something it can't do.DeCav wrote:So then what is edge?

So,.... I get 4 hours at time & half and 30 minutes for a missed lunch for this Saturday tech support, right?
And that, in a nutshell, is the problem with PFT. How many surveys, page views and ad-clicks do they need to pay for 4 hours of Saturday tech support.

...and now the work-around doesn't work. I'm now having the same problem with MS Internet Explorer 11.
Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and iOS Safari all still work.
