Re: Halt the season and play in the Spring
Over 3 million people died of covid worldwide in 2020. Over 9 million starved to death during the same period. Conclusion sandwiches save more lives than mask and vaccines.
Re: Halt the season and play in the Spring
But very odd that the rate of deaths in the USA didn't spike in 2020 beyond the normal rate of the last ten years. Lot of money being made off of this thing. The hospitals made bank by listing every patient they could as a covid patient.spectator wrote: ↑Fri Aug 27, 2021 7:15 pmThis virus has killed almost twice as many americans as WW2..............nuff said.............Blister wrote: ↑Fri Aug 27, 2021 6:33 pmNo. Everybody needs to put their big boy panties on and "get busy living, or get busy dying", as Morgan Freeman said in Shawshank Redemption. Is there a virus out there? Yes. But there is a 99% recovery percentage. And most that do pass had underlying conditions that were often self induced. Obesity, smoking, etc., all which can be controlled by personal choices, play a huge part. And let's not forget the political, and financial games, that play into this. Big Pharma, and a lot of folks in DC are making bank on the vaccines. Vaccines that it now appears aren't as effective as promised. Now if folks want to continue to wear masks continously, go ahead. Move to the basement and pray at the alter of Fauci. If it isn't the Delta variant, I promise you they will come up with another variant to take its place. Life isn't a zero risk averse adventure. What do we do? Just shut down forever? And since nobody gets the regular old flu anymore, that used to kill thousands upon thousands every year, do we just automatically lock down the country when that pops up next?
And a grand majority of those had underlying conditions, mostly brought on themselves by lifestyle choices in the areas of obesity, drinking, smoking, etc. Some just very elderly and frail where the next upper respiratory issue was going to be big problems no matter what it was. But that didn't fit the narrative created to grab as much control as the federal government, and even low-level elected, or appointed, local officials. And you know spectator, if you are a fairly healthy person, I want to know what you will sell your car for. AsI know since the odds of a healthy person dying are higher from an auto accident than Covid that you haven't driven in 18 months and have ne need for it.

This Delta variant is an entirely different monster...............keep playing with this virus and new variants will emerge..............possibly ones that our vaccine will not work against...........Blister wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 10:52 pmBut very odd that the rate of deaths in the USA didn't spike in 2020 beyond the normal rate of the last ten years.
