OT: Fundraiser for 12 year old POTS Syndrome Patient

Hello everyone. I know there are other forums which this probably should fall under but I really wanted it to be viewed by those people I know who primarily post in this forum. I have a very good friend and co-worker(Chris Erickson) whose 12 year old daughter(Ashley) has been diagnosed with POTS(Postural Tachycardia Syndrome) Syndrome. The cause of POTS Syndrome is not known and there is no cure. The condition can fade away in time just as it slowly showed it's ugly head in this young girl's life. Ashley's condition has been progressively getting worse over the last several months. As a result she has been hospitalized at the Children's Hospital of MUSC in Charleston, SC for several weeks now. Ashley is currently unable to walk or eat. She is being fed through a feeding tube to provide the nutrients her body needs for survival. Ashley's family needs our help. Chris has been out on FMLA for 6 weeks. FMLA only holds his job but it does not provide him a paycheck. Because Chris is currently spending every minute by Ashley's side, they are in need of financial support.
