These next three games are very important for the rebels. We need to improve everything about our games, great teams beat bad teams the way they should, by a lot of points. This team will show me that they have turned the corner when they stop playing to the level of their opponents. That is what separates this team from the title teams. When those teams got off the bus, they were up 21-0, because the opponent knew, "These guys aren't gonna take it easy on us, they are here to bury us."

The only question I have is does Brian Lane have control of the team and does he have the ability to set up his kind of program and run it his way or is he a stepping stone til the next great coach comes in the door. Does lane have the killer instinct to put teams away like Bentley did

I can answer the second question for sure. Brian is a great competitor, but he has yet to show the killer instinct, blood in the water mentality Bobby had/has.

I believe the first will be answered in the next year or 2. If he can take the boys to the end and finish the deal, then its his program,, but if he doesn't, it will be interesting as to what could unfold.

Neither. The team just isn't as polished as in years past, on the offensive side of the ball, which has never been a problem for the rebels. I've said this before, but I truly believe this is the best WR core Byrnes has ever had talent wise, but for some reason, they aren't reaching their potential.

Call it what you want to but the guys didn't like playing in the rain. They said it was like playing on Jello out there and they did everything in their power to stay on their feet. The Vikings posters say if that field were perfect Spartanburg would've ran it up 30 more points... BS. Spartanburg did win though and alot of positives really did come out of that loss. I think on a good field Micah and the WR corps would've
had a field day. Our season is nowhere from being complete coach was telling my kid yesterday heal that hand up because we are gonna need yours and Micah's hands the most in the next 9 games. His head is in State Championship mode. We shall see he knew he called a bad game in dangerous conditions and it cost his team. He promised he would never do that again and I believe Brian. He hasn't given me any reason not to. Eyes on the prize boys.

I would put #35 on one hip of Micah and either #3 or #22 on the other with #5, #9 and #11 out wide. Run the ball a lot early in games, no matter the results, it will slow down blitzes. As the games go one, release the hounds outside. Use Jaylen at times, but let him devote his time to corner and returner.

Bam!! That is what's up right there. Run that rock until it can't be ran anymore, and then let the Silver Bullets start flying through the air. I do think it might be time to leave The Alley I've saw us lose to DF in Bentleys last game in the playoffs and the Vikings this year... bad Mojo and I didn't sit in my normal chair and I wore a black jacket.... Superstitious absolutely

Im all for slinging the rock, I grew up watching Bobby implement this offense. I also know that to control the game, you have to run the ball sometimes. Just take what the defense gives you, They cant take away the pass and run. Make them pick their poison, then kill them with the other one.
