There wasn't any rain, the field was in good shap.... Oh I forgot bout that Byrnes Qb beating the hell out off the other Shrine Bowl QB and he was another Rebel. Thanks Dawgs you made my week.

Re: PFT Viqueen Meltdown
I honestly thought SHS would run the table without a sweat.
They have a once in a generation running back. A strong QB, good coaching, a fierce defense and they had won the only 2 tough games on the schedule.
The Vikings had a chance to go down as one of the most dominant teams in SCHSF history. 15-0 with a clean run to Columbia.
No more
A loss even with a state title will not erase an imperfect season and a loss to a very average Bulldog team. The Vikings had a chance to make history. They can make all the excuses they want; but all they will be now is a potential state champion with a mark on their record that will keep the team from being historical.
And next year they have a number of holes to fill including Scott, Scott, Feaster along with many other talented players.

Ah, last night will hardly go far enough to keep him quiet. He was pretty outrageous before and after losses before this year. True, they were the promised child this year and were supposed to go undefeated, especially after notching wins against Byrnes and Dorman. Last night definitely stung but Vic will be back shortly as outrageous as ever, especially if they pick up the #1 seed in the playoffs and win the title.gamecocksfootball62 wrote:I bet you cant find a Viking over there Someone finally shut Vic 6 up. Still, I have to admit that I am myself also quite amused by the result last night. Surprised and amused.

I just wonder how many viqueens will disappear now lol I loved it last night
Re: PFT Viqueen Meltdown
I love seeing things unfold like that where one team acts as a proxy team for other fans around the state. In late 2009 the number of Cav fans definitely swelled.

Said the guy who's team just lost to who Gene Knight calls em The Bubbling Brooks Sooners. Hey Sparty don't hate me... You're not on my foe list.. I actually have much respect for you. Thank all the other Queen posters for making this such a joyous occasion. Btw are you God? Or do you have a time machine? How do you know who will win at State? I ain't said nothing about Byrnes jack but rest assured they've cleaned things up this way.SPARTANVILLE VI wrote:Dave Pickren wrote:I honestly thought SHS would run the table without a sweat.

History is written by the victors. Glad we still get to define Dorman and Byrnes seasons. Enjoy this, you won't be seeing a title this season.

Please don't be bitter. There is no possible way you know who will and who won't win a state title. That wasn't very nice.SPARTANVILLE VI wrote:Dave Pickren wrote:I honestly thought SHS would run the table without a sweat.

That means you will be winning one? You have to beat Mauldin first.
