the hospital as precaution.do the rules in
S.C. allow him to play next week if the doctor
says he is ok.

That is my understanding...not 100% sure but I think there is a certain concussion protocol that the player must pass according to the doctor before they are allowed to return to play. So I think it is possible for them to play next week, just up to the Doctor to clear them to play.
