Your Welcome.

Also,
I was asked about Ashley Ridge winning Region 8.
They could be anywhere from #1 to #4 seed by winning Region 8.
-Northwestern can outpoint you.
-Dutch Fork will likely get you on opponent wins, if they win Region 4.
-Byrnes would outpoint you if they got into a three way tie for the Region 2 title.

So my best guess would be #3. If Dutch Fork loses then you would move to #2.

Fort D would fall somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 or 7.
So, what are the odds of that happening? I got us in second, but my Bulldog friends are telling me they win out....
Probably about as good as Boiling Springs beating Spartanburg..... ;)

Who knows, it could be Christmas time in Duncan. :idea:
And Boiling Springs could be playing the part of Santa.
Delivering the chance for the #1 seed to Byrnes.

‘Twas the night before the Dawgs and the Cavs,
and all through the house,
Rebel Fan 74 was stirring so much his clothes were doused;
The projections were done on his computer with care,
In the hopes that them Dawgs could win over there;
He and his Rebels were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of Home Playoff Games danced in their heads;
And Lane in his visor, and Rebel Fan in his cap,
Had just settled their brains for a long October’s nap,
When out of "the U" there arose such a clatter,
They sprang for the radio to see what was the matter.
Away to the dial they flew like a flash,
Turned up the volume and begged for a completed pass.
When, what to their wondering ears did they hear,
But a win by the mighty Gutshall, and his Dorman Cavaliers! :P

Good Luck Rebel Fan! :mrgreen:

The last few years region 8 tends to end with a 3 way tie for the region.
The wave tends to win the last 3.
And Fort normally has the better team but Ashley Ridge normally wins the head to head.
Could possibly happen this year too ;)

I think the Greenwave goes atleast 2-2 in the region. I am hoping for 3-1, but at the moment I'm just hoping to see a better team take the field. I'm much more optimistic than I was two weeks ago!

Right now, I'd guess that 1-1 between Summerville, Colleton County and Bluffton would favor Colleton due to more 4.0 games (wins). That said, the only way I see Summerville in the playoffs is to get an automatic bid at 2-2 in the Region.

Can they do it?

How long has it been since we wondered if Summerville would be in the playoffs? Since they made the change in 2006, we haven't seen it, and it didn't happen during the Big 16, so we know it pre-dates most of us since the Big 16 was around a long time.

So will you?

Also, you are the man with the answers, when is the last time Summerville did NOT make the playoffs?

When will you update your 4A projections now that we are going into week 10?

Working on them right now. Hope to post either tonight or tomorrow. :mrgreen:
(If my youngest has a bunch of homework tonight....you probably get it tomorrow.) ;)

I am currently checking Big 16, Out-of-State, 3A, and 2A opponents and some of their chances of getting to 6 wins....
and how that could affect the brackets
also how it may affect the At-large berths.

Does NW have a chance to fall into Div 2 playoffs?
