These are the projections for the At-Large Berths.
Let me know if I married them correctly in the bracket. I think I did. :?:

Pickens and Lakewood fall a few tenths of a point short of making the field in this Projection.

Also:
I only had to account for one 3-way tiebreaker in this projection.
4th place in Region 3 comes down to a 3-way tie between Clinton, Chester, and Broome.

I used the 3A point system to determine that outcome. Hope thats right. :?:
Clinton is projected to have more points.

Thanks for doing the 3A Projections EHSMeanGreen!!!! I really appreciate you doing this. I know some people always do the 4A Projections but to see the other classifications is awesome. There is more to High School Football in this state then 4A. 8-) :ugeek:. I love hearing about the 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A and even the Scisa teams. Thanks again for doing this EHSMeanGreen and for doing the Points and offensive/defensive numbers for each classification. My Beaufort Eagles Football Team has 2 BIG Region 8 3A games left with Orangeburg-Wilkinson and Berkeley. Those games will determine Beaufort's fate in the 3A Playoffs.

GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!
Beaufort Head Football Coach Bryce Lybrand is 43-26 after his 6th Season at Beaufort
2022 3A State Football Champions
3 State Titles in Football
I have attended 636 Beaufort Football Games
GO BEAUFORT EAGLES!!!!

Looks good... here are a couple of things about region 2 . I dont think TR can finish 5th
Current Standings:
1 Greer 6-0 (Clinched Region Title and #1 seed)
2 Chapman 4-2
3 Emerald 4-2
4 Southside 4-2
5 Eastside 3-3
6 TR 2-4
7 Blue Ridge 1-5
8 Berea 0-6

Games this week that impact playoff seedings: Chapman @ Southside, Emerald @ Eastside

Scenario 1: Chapman wins and Emerald wins.

2) Chapman 5-2 (Chapman beat Emerald head to head)
3) Emerald 5-2
4) Southside 4-3
5) Eastside 3-4

Scenario 2: Chapman wins and Eastside wins.

2) Chapman 5-2
3) Eastside 4-3 (beat a higher seed in Chapman)
4) Emerald 4-3 (beat Southside head to head)
5) Southside 4-3

Scenario 3: Southside wins and Emerald wins.

2) Emerald 5-2 (beat Southside head to head)
3) Southside 5-2
4) Chapman 4-3
5) Eastside 3-4

Scenario 4: Southside wins and Eastside wins.

2) Southside 5-2
3) Eastside 4-3 (beat Chapman and Emerald head to head)
4) Chapman 4-3 (beat Emerald head to head)
5) Emerald 4-3

There are a couple other things to check...
1 Im pretty sure there are markoffs for the points.. Im not 100% sure of how many.. That could impact things
2. According to the handbook... if the region 4... 4th place team qualifies.. they play in the lower state bracket..

Thank you, i'm trying....

Travelers Rest at Berea (If TR wins, they will be 3-4 in Region)
Emerald at Eastside (If Eastside loses, they will be 3-4 in Region)
Travelers Rest beat Eastside last week, therefore TR would be 5th place due to head to head

1. The numbers that I gave are with mark-offs. 3A marks off one game.

2. Thank You. I will fix that. I thought I had read something about that.
 If 4th place team in Region 4 goes to play-offs, they will automatically go and fill empty 4th place slot in the lower state
So, that would mean that I should just swap Travelers Rest and Camden. Correct? :?:
I will do that. Done.

The bracket above should now show TR @ Greer and Camden @ Myrtle Beach. Refresh your page if it doesn't.

Sadly my work computer won't pull up the image of the brackets you posted. I'll have to try and look later.

What is the "mark off" that y'all are mentioning? I must have missed that looking at the guide book.

A. Schools must maximize points on the point system.
B. Tie Breaking Procedure: In case the point system does not gain a solution, the following will be used to seed teams.
1. If two teams are tied in the point system and the two teams played, the head-to-head winner will get the top seed. If there is a three-way tie and one team beats the other two teams, the winner will get the top seed. Also, if there are more teams tied for a particular seed, the point system will be used to seed the team. Seeds will be filled one at a time and the process will start back at the top of the point system.
2. The team whose opponents have the most victories (all games except mark off).
3. The team whose opponents have the fewest defeats (all games except mark off) will receive the top seeding.
4. Start back at the first step of the point system but include the mark off game. In a situation where the two teams have played a different number of games (11 or 10), the team playing eleven games will include the one mark off that maximizes points. If both teams played the same number of games, then all mark offs will be added back before totaling points. Only allowed one mark off game.

I still don't know what mark off means. Is each team allowed to "mark off" (throw out) the one result that nets the fewest points?
