RH Bearcats = No Offense

Post by bearcat/bulldog »

1st post here. Hi, ya!
I will be there to pull for the Bearcats regardless. The thing is: "it is very hard to watch now"! Going into games hoping to slow the opponent down enough to keep them around 14 pts is not cutting it. We are very much offensively challenged.

I hope we can secure some help from "somewhere" during the off season to help us on offense. By secure help I mean, have some coach get on the staff who is able to bring in a more potent attack. I feel we have the talent to be above average football team. Maybe not state caliber annually; but not a 2 win football program either. More like a program that maybe loses 3 tough ones each year maybe 4 in a bad one. And occasionally playing for state championships. It was just 2009 when we were undefeated during the regular season. Ranked high in the nation. Then wiffed in the 1st round. Still, that team nearly 5 years after SP opening indicated to me it could be done.
Our DC is very good very talented. He makes the most out of the circumstances. But, having a fast light weight defense have to play against so many plays each game is not good. It is bad for any defense but especially one built on speed. Too many 3 and outs keeps him from being recognized for his brilliance but believe me. If he and the defensive unit was not as good our scores would be even more one sided. I give those guys credit for having to "basically" know they will not get enough point production. Yet they still come out each week and give it there best shot.
Take a look out of state RHH! Change up on offense now! The Air Raid the way we are trying to employ it is not working!

Welcome to the Board bearcat/bulldog!

Looking at the Offensive Points per Game. They are currently 48th out of 52 schools in 4A.

that is a shame. I grew up with Rock Hill always being a good tough phiysical team. Hope they get it turned around
